Die Hard haalde het dan weer van Edward Scissorhands en Gremlins in de categorie 'Beste onconventionele kerstfilm'. Tim Allens vertolking van de kerstman in The Santa Clause werd uitgeroepen tot de beste aller tijden met Ed Asner (Elf) en Billy Bob Thornton (Bad Santa) op de tweede en derde plek.
