Het Britse filmblad Empire heeft voor de 25e keer de Jameson Empire Awards uitgereikt. De lezers konden de afgelopen weken in verschillende categorieën hun stem uitbrengen. Christopher Nolans scifi-epos Interstellar werd bekroond als de beste film en de cineast ontving de prijs voor beste regisseur. Andy Serkis (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes) en Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl) waren de beste acteurs van de avond.
