Vanmorgen werd het programma voor het 70e Berlinale aangekondigd. Dat vindt plaats van 20 februari tot en met 1 maart. Onder meer de Pixar-film Onward met de stemmen van Chris Pratt en Tom Holland zal er zijn wereldpremière beleven. Tot de officiële selectie behoren de Belgische coproductie Effacer l'historique van Benoît Delépine en Gustave Kervern, First Cow van Kelly Reichardt, Siberia van Abel Ferrara en The Roads not Taken van Sally Potter met Javier Bardem en Elle Fanning. Deze en veertien andere films zullen meedingen naar de Gouden Beer.
